Convert a bank statement PDF to Excel—without uploading it.

Bank statements are often easy to read but difficult to use. If you need to sort transactions, reconcile expenses, send a clean file to an accountant, or prepare a visa application, CSV is usually more useful than a PDF.

Use the converter

Choose a text-based bank or credit-card statement PDF. StatementLift reads it in your browser and lets you download a CSV for Excel.

How to turn a bank statement PDF into Excel

  1. Download the statement PDF directly from your bank.
  2. Open StatementLift and select the file.
  3. Check the detected transaction rows.
  4. Download CSV, then open it in Excel or Google Sheets.
  5. Compare totals and balances against the original PDF before using it.

Does StatementLift upload my statement?

No. The file is read locally in your browser. The service is designed for sensitive financial documents, so your statement is not sent to a processing server.

What if the statement is scanned?

This first version works best with text you can select in the PDF. Image-only scans and password-protected documents may not be readable yet.

Always check the export against your original bank document.
